VST Industries Q4 net profit up 28.38% at Rs 88.20 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 88.20 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 68.70 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 28.38 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 58.21 per cent at Rs 475.98 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 300.86 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 72.72 per cent to Rs 379.39 crore from Rs 219.66 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 83.87 per cent at Rs 29.53 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 16.06 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 17.68 per cent to Rs 96.59 crore as against Rs 82.08 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 25.62 per cent in March quarter.
Taxation increased by 28.31 per cent at Rs 27.01 crore (Mar'23 Rs 21.05 crore).
